We had a wonderful time seeing the complete other side of the US. We took a plane to DC, LA and then to Hawaii! On the return flight we went to LA, Chicago and NC. LONGGGG flights!!
The picture above is the lava part of the big island! A few days after getting to the resort, we took the "Big Island Tour". It was an all day event that took us all around the Island. I would definitely suggest folks do that! Totally worth the money!
Here's a beautiful shot I got on the top of a peak we started hiking on. We went all the way down to the back sanded beach below. 45 degree angle up and down. Wild horses and a small Hawaiian town. It was gorgeous!
While on our dinner cruise, someone caught a fish. The boat stopped and everyone rushed to the side. Except us. Cause we didn't care. LOL. Included with the cruise was dinner and on the house drinks. An amazing artist by the name of Bula Akamu sang and played the ukulele, my favorite instrument. I gave him a five dollar tip for sounding soooo great. James and I watched the sunset as we traveled back to land. We met two amazing couples on this trip!
